Congress in Manipur has accepted defeat.
"Yes. It's now likely that we will not be able to form the government. A BJP-led coalition government would be the only alternative," said Debadatta Singh, spokesperson of Manipur Congress.
"It was highly surprising. We never thought it was going to happen," Singh said.
He further said, "We might end up getting 25 seats".
After a long spell of 15 years, Ibobi Singh government might have to step down.
The Congress leaders have started serious introspection.
"We have to sit down and introspect. How can a party which did not win a single seat in last election come to power?" asked Singh.
