Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive at his home state on Monday afternoon to take part in the four-day biennial Vibrant Gujarat Summit which is all set to kick off on Tuesday.
The PM has a packed day ahead of the mega event. He will inaugurate the groundbreaking ceremony of Gandhinagar Railway Station's redevelopment project on Monday afternoon. The revamped station will house a five-star hotel.
The PM will also throw open the Gujarat Global Trade Show and Exhibition which is expected see thousands in attendance.
On Monday evening, Modi will inaugurate international trade operations of the Bombay Stock Exchange at the GIFT City in Gandhinagar. The Nobel Prize Series Exhibition at the Science City in Ahmedabad will also be inaugurated by the PM on the same day.
On Tuesday, the PM will take part in a dialogue with Nobel laureates. As many as nine Nobel laureates from the field of science, including Venkatraman Ramakrishnan, have confirmed their participation.
The Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2017 will be formally inaugurated on Tuesday afternoon.
