BJP workers at Khajoori Chowk in east Delhi prepared a whopping 731-kg ladoo on Friday to celebrate the Narendra Modi government completing two years in office.
It took 20 men two days to make the mammoth sweet, which is equivalent to 14,000 motichoor ladoos, said senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goel, who hosted the celebrations.
Each kilo represented each day from the two-year rule of the Modi government.
"Fifty seven flags denoting schemes of the two year old government were fixed on the ladoo and it was distributed among the people as a 'prasad' of Modi government's schemes in the same manner in which these schemes are to be taken to the common man in small villages and towns," Goel said.
Union Minister for Small and Medium Industries, Kalraj Mishra and BJP national vice-president Shyam Jaju were present on the occasion.
A two-km long run was also held. An exhibition on Modi government's two years achievements and schemes will be organised at Talkatora stadium on June 5, Goel said.
