Even as the Trinamool Congress and other political parties disrupted the parliament over the Indian Army conducting its exercise in Kolkata, the BJP said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was hallucinating and rattled by the demonetisation decision.

Listing the recent charges made by the Bengal CM, the BJP said she needed medical care.

“No sane politician and certainly not a constitutional head has ever levelled such serious charges on the Indian Army. A routine exercise being made into a controversy. Such behaviour of Mamata Banerjee cannot be attributed to her maverick nature. The demonetisation has certainly unnerved and rattled her,” BJP Secretary and Bengal Affairs Co-incharge Sidharthnath Singh said.

The BJP alleged that she lost crores of unaccounted money earned through various chit fund companies and illegal activities of TMC-patronised syndicate.

She first called it a financial emergency and demanded a complete roll back. Later, warned riots in the country and gave a 72-hour deadline to the prime minister, held poorly attended dharnas in UP and Bihar andfloated conspiracy of an assassination attempt on her.

“The unnerved mind has given way to hallucination, which certainly requires medical care,” Singh charged.

The BJP said it was unfortunate that Indian Army had to come up with a proof that they had informed the Bengal administration much ahead of their routine drill.

“This is the lowest of the low of Mamata for which she must apologise to the Indian Army and her MPs to the nation for stalling the parliament,” BJP leader added.
