Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was on Sunday heckled and inked by a woman during a gathering called for celebrating the success of the odd-even scheme at the Chatrusaal Stadium in New Delhi.
The woman, who appeared to be in her 20s, came close to the lectern when Kejriwal was delivering his speech and showed some papers to him. The security personnel were caught unawares as the woman walked close to the stage and threw ink at the CM as he was starting his congratulatory speech. Though she missed her target, the ink fell on Kejriwal's aides who were standing close to him.
The woman was reportedly carrying some papers related to the CNG scam. After the attack the CM was heard asking the security personnel to "to let her go" and to collect the papers from her.
According to reports, the woman belongs to a group called the Aam Aadmi Sena and has identified herself as Bhavana. The woman has been detained by the Delhi police and is being interrogated at the Model Town police station.
The melee disrupted the speech for around 7 minutes.
