The Gujarat BJP has canceled all its engagements for Tuesday in honour of the seven people killed in Amarnath terror attack.
The bodies of the slain pilgrims are being flown into Surat Airport from New Delhi by a special Air Force plane. The bodies will be received at the Airport by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and his cabinet colleagues.
Nineteen people, who were injured in the attack, are also being flown back.
BJP national president Amit Shah too is likely to be present to receive the bodies.
The injured will be treated at Surat's Kiran Hospital for free.
Shah was scheduled to have a series of meetings with party leaders on Tuesday and receive NDA's presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind.
