A Special Women’s Court on Thursday convicted four people in connection with the murder of Keenan Santos and Reuben Fernandez.
The convicted, identified as Jitendra Rana, Satish, Sunil and Deepak, who stabbed to death Keenan and Reuben after the two youngsters tried to fight them off when they misbehaved with the duo's female friends in suburban Andheri on October 20, 2011, were awarded life imprisonment till death.
The group, after retreating, returned to the spot with over ten aides and brutally assaulted Keenan and Reuben in full public view.
While Keenan succumbed to his injuries on the same day, Reuben died ten days later.
The police arrested the four murderers the next day after the incident.
Father of Keenan said he is happy with the verdict and added that he will keep fighting for his son.
