Salman Khan's 'rape comment' was insensitive: Aamir Khan

Dangal-Aamir-Khan1 Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan

Bollywood's Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan reacting to Salman Khan's latest controversy said, his star friend comparing himself with a “raped woman" was rather “unfortunate and even insensitive.”

“I wasn’t present when he made the comment. I feel going purely by the media reports that I have been reading which quotes him as saying it, I feel what he said was rather unfortunate and insensitive,” Amair said during the poster launch of Dangal when he was asked his reaction to Salman's latest controversy.

Aamir's comments have comes at a time when most of the top Bollywood celebrities have opted to refrain from making any comment on the controversy as they don't want to rub Salman the wrong way.

However, Amair, as always, seems to have refused to fall in the line.

In fact, when superstar Shah Rukh Khan was recently asked about his thoughts on Salman's 'rape comments', he smartly dodged the question saying, he was not qualified to judge anyone's comment.

"In the last few years, I have come to realise that I have made so many inappropriate comments myself. I don't think I am someone to sit in judgment for somebody else's comment,” Shah Rukh said.

"It is not about taking a side or not taking a side. I myself talk a lot so who will sit, judge and decide who should do what," he said.

"Those who want to do something they should decide it for themselves. Personally speaking, I don't think I am anyone to be making a comment. I am so inappropriate myself," he added.

Salman came under heavy fire for using a rape analogy to describe gruelling shooting schedule for his upcoming film Sultan.
