“Rajinikanth #HitToKill”, a hashtag tweeted by Rajinikanth himself on Tuesday surprised legions of fans who follow the actor on Twitter.
As if this wasn't enough, before this tweet, Rajinikanth followed the Twitter accounts of actors Kamal Haasan, Aamir Khan, Sharukh Khan and Kabali’s director Pa. Ranjith and a few others.
According to media reports, it was found that the actor's twitter account was hacked by a techie who wanted the hashtag #HitToKill to trend.
The 65-year-old actor's daughter Aishwaryaa Dhanush took to Twitter to announce that the account was retrieved.

After the account was retrieved, the accounts of the celebrities the hacker followed were un-followed.
