Actor, producer, film critic Kamaal R. Khan, popularly known as KRK, has threatened to commit suicide if Twitter does not revoke the suspension of his personal account @kamaalrkhan within 15 days.
Twitter suspended the self-proclaimed film critic's account on October 18 after he shared his review of Aamir Khan-starrer Secret Superstar, and revealed the climax of the film. The film's team is said to have reported the matter to Twitter, following which KRK's account was suspended by the latter.
"I request @Twitterindia and staff Ms. Mahima Kaul, Viral Jani and Mr. Taranjeet Singh to restore my account within 15 days. 1st they did charge me millions of rupees and then suddenly suspended my account. So am depressed because they have cheated me. If they won't restore my account, then I will commit suicide and all these people will be responsible for my death. From depressed KRK," he said in the statement.
KRK also manages another account called @KRKBOXOFFICE on Twitter where he shares Bollywood news and box office performances of various films. On Friday, @KRKBOXOFFICE tweeted: "According to our sources-Versova Area police has just reached to KRK Bungalow because they got call that KRK is going to commit suicide today (sic).”

Earlier, the Deshdrohi star, in a statement posted on Facebook, said: "I have spent lots of time to make Twitter famous in India but they want only Amir Khan to use it, so fair enough." "I have spent 4 years and lots of money to build my 6 million followers account on Twitter. Therefore, I will definitely go to court against Twitter to ask them to reimburse me for the money and time I have spent on my account so far," he added.
Meanwhile, some Twitter users praised Twitter for its decision to suspend KRK's account and mocked the actor for his statements.
@TwitterIndia Please don't restore #KRK's account... Ek marta hai Marne Do... Restore hogaya toh bohot jada log suicide kar lenge... 😂😂😉😉

This is not the first time that the former Bigg Boss contestant is creating ripples across Twitter. Last October, KRK took to Twitter to bash director-actor Ajay Devgn's Shivaay and also leaked a few portions of the film online, which soon went viral. Although, the actor later deleted the clips, the damage was already done. The theatre's official handle responded to KRK's tweet, saying: “@kamaalrkhan Hey KRK. We’re sure you’re excited to watch #Shivaay, however using recording devices inside the cinema is strictly not allowed.”
KRK's rant against actor Ajay Devgn went on to become a full-blown controversy, with the Shivaay actor accusing filmmaker Karan Johar of having paid Rs 25 lakh to KRK to trash his film and praise Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on Twitter instead.
