Madhur Bhandarkar's Indu Sarkar is all set to open the 15th Bollywood film festival in Norway to be held from September 8 to 14. The Bollywood Festival is Norway's biggest festival on Hindi cinema.
Indu Sarkar is based on a 21-month long period, from 1975 to 1977, when the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi unilaterally had a state of Emergency declared across the country.
The movie was released in India on July 28 after seeing a fair amount of buzz and controversy. However, the film did not fare well at the box-office.
The film stars Kirti Kulhari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher.
