As many of the celebrities are joining the debate on intolerance, pornstar-turned-actor Sunny Leone has also expressed her views.

Saying India is a great place to live in, the actor trashed the contention that there is growing intolerance in the society and wondered how she could be here if the country was not tolerant.

“I think the word (intolerance) is interesting to be used. As far as myself goes, I love India and it is a great place to be. Had it not been safe, I wouldn’t have been here,” Sunny Leone was quoted as saying by PinkVilla.

Asked about actor Aamir Khan's controversial comment on the issue, Sunny said the the super star was misquoted by the media. “Sometimes people's words get twisted and used in the wrong way to benefit traffic to their website. That happens with me on a daily basis (laughs). So that's all I have to say about it," she said.
