With Shah Rukh Khan's new show TED Talks India: Nayi Soch set to premiere on television in a few days, he released a promo on social media on Saturday.

The promo was a playful advice to children: If your parents scold you for being engrossed in your gadgets all day, tell them that you watch Ted Talks. And then, watch their reaction.

Star India has partnered with TED for the show that will feature original TED Talks in a language other than English for the first time.

"I believe TED Talks India: Nayi Soch will inspire many minds across India. It is a concept I connected with instantly, as I believe that the media is perhaps the single most powerful vehicle to inspire change. I am looking forward to working with TED and Star India, and truly hope that together, we are able to inspire young minds across India and the world," Shah Rukh said in a statement.

SRK has a long association with the small screen as he began his showbiz career with TV shows like Fauji and Circus.

He also turned host for Kaun Banega Crorepati briefly besides hosting shows like Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? and India Poochega Sabse Shaana Kaun?
