Gulzar, Vishal Bhardwaj recreate evergreen title song of 'Jungle Book' and it's amazing

While we await for the release of The Jungle Book in theatres this April, the new version of evergreen Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai song, is set to refresh your childhood memories.

Watching the popular animated series on Doordarash, Jungle Book, every Sunday morning, was an important part of the childhood in nineties. The iconic Mowgli character, his skills with his boomerang and his crew of Black Panther and a pack of wolves, and their adventure fighting Shere Khan, the tiger, in deep woods, were among the things that made most of our childhood entertaining and happy.

The TV series, which was based on the timeless work of Rudyard Kipling and inspired by Disney's 1967 animated film, has been adopted again for the big screen. The director of blockbuster Iron Man series, Jon Favreau is all set to tell the thrilling adventures of Mowgli with the best of film making technology.

The film will also be released in Hindi. Actors Irrfan Khan, Om Puri, Priyanka Chopra among others have provided voice overs for the Hindi version. To top it all lyricist Gulzar and music composer-filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj have recreated the classic song with a bunch of kids.
