Malayalam actor Dileep, accused in the February 17 actress attack case, is all set to approach the court again seeking a copy of the visuals of the heinous crime. The move comes after Dileep's counsel examined the images in the presence of the magistrate. The actor will point out that all accused are legally entitled to get the images before the trail.
Dileep has been listed as the eighth accused in the charge sheet submitted by the police. As soon as the police submitted the charge sheet in court, Dileep had collected a copy.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) had alleged that Dileep had hired goons to abduct and assualt the actress and videotape the crime. The SIT had submitted in court a copy of the images captured by main accused Pulsar Suni. The police are yet to locate the original images and the mobile phone used to shoot the crime.
Dileep, who was arrested on July 10, was granted bail on October 3.
Six people, including Pulsar Suni, were arrested soon after the incident.
