If you do not watch the first day first show (FDFS) of a Rajinikanth film, you are no true 'Thalaivar' fan. No hardcore fan of the actor wants to miss FDFS experience, come what may.

From flying down to India from abroad to promising free rides to anyone who wants to go to theatre to watch Kabali on June 22, Rajini fans have planned a lot of things to ensure that the release is a celebration that cuts across boundaries. Many have already sent in leave applications and others are planning French leave.

Taking note of the piling leave applications and the possibility of many more 'falling ill', a few companies in Chennai and Bengaluru have declared holiday on June 22, according to media reports. Some of the companies have also gone to the extent of booking tickets for their employees for free.

One such company in Bengaluru, Opus, decided to declare holiday to "avoid sick leaves, mobile switch-offs and mass bunks". According to one of the officials of the company, such a step will help boost the morale of the employees, reports Bangalore Mirror.

Fans of a start-up company, TheSocialPeople, have decided to hold a costume party on June 21. According to a media report, the fans have decided to come dressed up as characters from Rajinikanth films. The company has already declared Friday as a holiday for the 35-member team.

Uday Senan, a Bengaluru-based techie and hardcore fan of the actor, has decided to do something unique to celebrate the film's release. He has invited, via Facebook, random strangers who are ardent Thalaivar fans to watch the FDFS with him.

Meanwhile, some of the fans of the actor in Chennai have launched an online petition, requesting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa to declare a public holiday on June 22 on account of the film's release.
