The actor says he is a disciplinarian only with boys because his girls can do no wrong

  • I am a disciplinarian with the boys. Girls do no wrong so I don’t have to be. I feel like my job is to show them around, help them find what they want to do with their life, put as many things in front of them, and pull them back when they get out of line — Brad Pitt

Actor Brad Pitt says that although his father was tough on him, he himself is a disciplinarian with his sons.

The 51-year-old actor, who grew up in a Southern Baptist household in Springfield, Missouri, shared that he is not a disciplinarian with his girls but is so with his boys, reports mirror.co.uk.

"My father was very tough... I am a disciplinarian with the boys. Girls do no wrong so I don’t have to be. I feel like my job is to show them around, help them find what they want to do with their life, put as many things in front of them, and pull them back when they get out of line, so they know who they are," the Telegraph Magazine quoted Pitt as saying.

Pitt is a father of six children with Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, nine, and seven-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Pitt says he and his actress wife Angelina Jolie were keen to have 12 children together but stopped at six because their family life is already chaotic.

"Listen, Angie and I were aiming for a dozen children, but we crapped out after six," Pitt told Daily Telegraph newspaper, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The 51-year-old actor said that their family life can also be chaotic at times.

"It's a lot of love, a lot of fighting, a lot of refereeing, a lot of teeth-brushing and spilling... Chaos, total chaos. But so much fun," he said.
