“The biggest milestone has been reached by the biggest blockbuster of Indian cinema!!!! #1000croreBaahubali,” tweeted Karan Johar announcing the big milestone that the second installment of Baahubali has reached.
Soon, a release informs that there’s a new “1000 Crore Club” and Prabhas is the hero of that. In less than 10 days of its release, Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion has broken many records in the Indian cinema sphere. It has clocked domestic collections of Rs 800 crore and overseas collections of Rs 200 crore on Day 9 of its release. The movie opened to a collection of Rs 121 crores, and has continued its streak henceforth.
In the Hindi market alone, the film made Rs 250 crore by the end of the sixth day. If analysis by trade pundit Taran Adarsh is taken into account, it will cross the Rs 300 mark in the Hindi market before the second weekend closes.
According the data by Rentrak, in the US, the film may soon hit the Rs 100 crore mark.
In a release, Prabhas, the lead actor of the movie, said, “To All My Fans, a big hug to each one of you for all the love that you'll have showered on me. I have tried my best to go through a lot of the efforts that you all have put to express your affection for me from different parts of India and even overseas. I am truly overwhelmed with everything.
