AirAsia introduces Kabali-themed aircraft; special package for Bengaluru fans

In order to cash in on Superstar Rajinikanth's popularity, Malaysian-based airlines, AirAsia, has launched a Kabali-themed aircraft.

The special aircraft boasts of the image of Don Kabali and the movie title. AirAsia, the official airlines partner of the film, has said that the aircraft was designed as a mark of respect to Rajinikanth's contribution to the Indian film industry.

The Kabali-themed aircraft will fly across 10 cities in AirAsia India network, including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Goa, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Guwahati, Imphal, Vizag and Kochi.

In the meantime, the aircraft also provides a special package for Bengaluru fans to catch the first day, first show of the film in Chennai.

According to reports, the package including the flight ticket, a movie ticket, an audio CD, Kabali merchandises, breakfast, lunch and snacks is priced at Rs 7,860.

As part of the promotion, AirAsia has also begun special “Fly like a Superstar” service with promotional fares to all destinations in India from Kuala Lumpur . The service also includes a Kabali-themed in-flight menu.

The fares are available till July 3 for journey dates between February 1 and April 30, 2017.

Rajinikanth's much-awaited film was expected to release on July 1. However, it was postponed to July 15. Now the reports have it that the release date may be pushed further to July 22.

Kabali has been in headlines ever since its teaser was released. The songs of the film are already a hit with the masses and the movie has already reportedly collected over Rs 200 crore from the sales of theatrical, endorsement deals and merchandise.
