After turning into a nun, promising to be everyone's mother and vowing not to have sex again, Sofia Hayat, or Mother Sofia as she prefers, has now sought apology for her “previous life” as a model.

“I apologise to my fans and anybody who found me beautiful with makeup and implants. Three weeks ago, I had my implants removed,” the former Bigg Boss contestant is quoted as saying in a report. In 2014, it said, she had undergone surgeries for breast augmentation.

Earlier, in an interview to a newspaper, she said she would never have sex, get married or have children.

“The problem is media promotes sexual promiscuity. There is nothing wrong with making love. I say, make love and connect to your bodies. I will not marry or have sex as I need to save myself for my children. I am the Holy Mother.”

Ever since she announced on Instagram that she has turned into a nun, the British national of South Asian descent has been critical of people using make-up.

“We are beautiful without makeup...hair colour...fashion... We are perfect as we are. I’m sorry I gave you the impression otherwise. I am changed,” read one of her Instagram posts from a series that indicated her spiritual transformation.

“Media projects fake images of women with implants and men with steroid shots. And then, everyone wants to have similar bodies. What they don’t realise is that all of that is fake.”

"Unfortunately, women start believing that showing sexy, curvy body is freedom. The truth, however, is that media all media organisations across the world are directly or indirectly controlled by men. So what we thought was freedom, was just a man’s view of how a woman should look. That is some freedom!”
