Actress Sunny Leone's recent interview to a TV news channel has set off a raging debate on social media. Her interviewer was slammed on social media for confronting her with questions that was perceived mostly biased, insulting and judgemental.
The interviewer in question asked Sunny to respond to alleged reluctance of Bollywood A-listers to share screen space with her due to her past profession as porn star. She was also asked while she would like to work with Aamir Khan, would Aamir like to work with her.
Sunny took it on her chin and answered in good spirit, which drew applause from Aamir himself.
"I think Sunny conducted herself with a lot of grace and dignity in this interview. I wish I could have said the same about the interviewer,” tweeted Aamir.
"And yes Sunny, I will be happy to work with you. I have absolutely no problems with your 'past', as the interviewer puts it. Stay blessed. Cheers. Aamir," he added.
Sunny responded to the Aamir's tweet, saying it means world to her.
"I think my heart just dropped seeing this! Thank you so much for the support. It means the world and beyond to me,” she said in a tweet.
Responding to Aamir's willingness to work with her, she tweeted, “Wow you just made my whole year saying that! I was just happy you wrote me back. Respect you dearly!"
Sunny is busy promoting her upcoming film Mastizaade, an adult-comedy.
