Siddiqui's manager refutes charges; calls it attempt to 'defame' the actor

In the wake of an FIR lodged against Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for allegedly misbehaving with a woman following an altercation over parking space, the actor's manager Anup Pandey said the allegations were made with the intention of defaming Siddiqui.

According to media reports, Pandey said on Sunday five people, including three women, entered the office of the actor at Yari Road and demanded to meet the actor to issue him a notice about vacating an area in front of his office.

He said since the actor had never claimed that the area in question belonged to him, there was no question of vacating it. However, the group refused to go out of the office and one of the men tried to push the actor's wife way in a bid to meet the actor.

When the actor's wife asked them to hand over the notice to her, they refused to do so and insisted that they meet the actor in person.

Pandey claimed that while these incidents were taking place, the actor was in the washroom. He claimed that when the actor saw the group, he merely asked them to give him the notice and go out of the office and said that there was no physical confrontation between the actor and the group.
