CISF says officer who stopped Salman Khan ‘suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism’

There were reports the officer was penalised for speaking to media

73-Salman-Khan Croon, groom: This Eid, Salman Khan released ‘Bhai Bhai’, his third song during lockdown. Like the first two songs, the latest one, too, was sung by him and shot at his farmhouse in Navi Mumbai. A day earlier, Khan had launched his grooming and personal care brand, FRSH. Under the brand, he had planned to launch a deodorant first. Instead, he came out with a sanitiser, keeping “the need of the hour” in mind.

The CISF has responded to reports that the officer who stopped Salman Khan at the Mumbai airport was penalised for speaking to media. Denying the reports, the CISF tweeted that the officer was 'suitably rewarded for exemplary professionalism'.

In a video that gone viral recently, the actor was seen reaching the airport, accompanied by a few people. Khan, who was reportedly heading to Russia for the filming of the third installment in the Tiger franchise, managed to evade fans and photographers crowding around him to reach the entrance of the airport, only to be stopped by the CISF personnel for the completion of his security clearance.

Netizens were impressed with the way in which the actor was stopped at the airport and was subjected to the required security check.

The first film in the Tiger franchise was Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan. Ali Abbas Zafar helmed the second part Tiger Zinda Hai. The third film is being directed by Maneesh Sharma. Photos of Salman from the sets of the film in Russia were trending on social media recently.
