Shah Rukh Khan, who recently clocked 29 years in Bollywood, has resumed shooting for his next film Pathan in Mumbai. And now, multiple media reports suggest that he may features alongside actress Nayanthara in Tamil filmmaker Atlee’s next.
Atlee, popular for his recent hits Bigil and Mersal, is reportedly making his Bollywood debut with this film. Earlier, too, there had been rumours about Shah Rukh teaming with Atlee. Nayanthara was seen in a slew of films recently including A. R. Murugadoss’ Darbar opposite Rajinikanth, Mookuthi Amman and Malayalam movie Nizhal. She will next be seen Annaatthe, alongside Rajinikanth again.
On Friday, Shah Rukh took to social media to greet his fans as the superstar clocked 29 years in Bollywood. He said he is "overwhelmed" by the love his fans and followers have shown him over the years. Known as King Khan of Bollywood, the 55-year-old star started his acting journey with television shows Fauji and Circus before making a spectacular film debut with Deewana in 1992.
Reflecting on his career, the actor said he spent more than half his life trying to entertain the audience. "Been working. Just saw the ''overwhelmed ness'' of the love of nearly 30 years you are showering on me here. Realised it’s more than half my life in the service of hoping to entertain you all.”
