Think biriyani and you think of Hyderabad. Now you will have a chance to have the real taste of Hyderabad biriyani in your own town, as the iconic Paradise Food Court in Hyderabad is all set for a major expansion drive.

The 60-year-old restaurant chain plans to have a presence in the 20 top cities across India over the next four years.

From a base in Secunderabad, which had important visitors including Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, it started branches in Cyberabad, the new extension of the twin towns of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Later, it went out of the 500-year-old city and set up six outlets in Bangalore and one in Chennai.

Paradise is planning to go to the coastal town of Visakhapatnam. This will be its first branch in Andhra Pradesh. Though the biriyani making style in Vizag is different, Hyderabadi biriyani is a favourite food item.

Paradise is also planning to expand to western and northern parts of the country. They have also plans to set up restaurants in Dubai, Singapore and Canada next year.

A conservative food chain, Paradise was a name identified with Hyderabad/Secunderabad. It took them years to set up branches within the city.

Paradise has made a tie up with Swiggy for home delivery and is planning to join hands with Zomato.

For the second year, the group has launched 'Paradise hot n juicy kebab festival', said to be the biggest kebab festival in India. Since kebabs have the potential to become a pan India favourite, they have plans to build a kebab brand too.

The 45-day-long festival offers 25 varieties of kebabs—some of them are rare and unique. This year, they have added 16 new kebabs while retaining nine from last year.
