Flexion is an important movement of the shoulder joint. This movement can be best got in the prone position with the help of a wall. In this, the chest, shoulder blades and neck also benefit.
METHOD:
* Facing the wall, sit upright on your heels
* Lay on your chest keeping the head about one feet away from the wall
* Keep the hands flexed
* Raise both arms straight over the head and rest the palms on the wall
* Keep the arms straight
* Keep the neck relaxed
* Feel the stretch in the upper chest
* Stay for 20-30 seconds with slow deep breathing
* Slowly bring the arms down and relax
Repeat
If this distance is comfortable, move little more closer to the wall and repeat
