An Argentinian footballer is on the run after shooting dead a referee after the former was shown a red card during a local game held at Cordoba province in Argentina.
According to media reports, the player, who was sent out during the match, returned to the pitch with a gun and shot 48-year-old Cesar Flores thrice. He was shot on the neck, chest and head.
Another player too sustained injuries during the incident but is reportedly out of danger.
Police sources said the exact nature of the incident is yet to be known and added that all that they know was that player was angry after he was shown a red card, came back to the pitch with a gun and killed the referee.
