Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Thursday will be throwing a lavish party at one of his residences to celebrate the release of his long time buddy and colleague actor Sanjay Dutt.
Dutt was released from Yerwada Central Jail eight months ahead of his full jail term on the grounds of good behavior much to the relief of his family and friends. The Munnabhai series star reached Mumbai on a chartered plane from Pune and has planned several engagements to attend to celebrate his freedom.
The party has been arranged at Salman's Panvel farmhouse, where members of Dabangg star family and close friends will be joined by Dutt for the celebrations. The celebrity host has made all necessary arrangements to ensure the party is not disturbed by media and other intruders.
Salman has also assigned four of his personal bodyguards to escort Dutt throughout the day around Mumbai. The actor will leave for Haryana to resume shooting for his film Sultan after spending some quality time with Dutt at the party.
Salman and Dutt have shared a strong bond in the industry for a very long time. The former's family has always remained by the side of Dutt during the latter's trying times.
Dutt was convicted of illegal possession of arms in 1993 Mumbai serial bombings case and spent 42 months behind the bars. However, he was granted remission, paving way for his early release on Thursday.
