The nominations for the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, the highest honors in US television, were announced on Thursday by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

The following is a list of nominations in key categories for the Emmy Awards. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Los Angeles on Sept. 18:
